While looking back at the fan festival before offering an update Martina Navratilovafight cancer, the Real Housewives of Miami cast member, 45, admitted that after idolizing Kenya, 52, as the “queen” of Real Housewives of Atlanta and introducing him to the show, he discovers that Kenya is not what he expected.
“I have one [encounter] that really, like, broke my soul because I was … fixing the crown,” Guerdy told Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast. “And maybe not on purpose because [we were] so all the places. [But] I saw Kenya and I was like, ‘Oh my God, Kenya, hi!’ And he said, ‘Oh, hi … what show are you watching?’ It’s like that.”
“And I was like, ‘OK, OK, ma’am. Move right together. OK, queen.’ … But the way he said it, it was like, ‘Hey, be nice. Be nice, you know?'” Guerdy shared.
Although the interaction was not appropriate, Guerdy said he did not hold a grudge.
“I love it [RHOA], of course, and I am your queen. I mean, she is the queen,” he explained. “He’s amazing. So the response was a bit disappointing… [But] everything is good in the hood, trust me. Listen, honey, keep going.”
In the latest season of RHOMGuerdy had shown the fire captain’s wife, Russell Abrahambut according to event planners, fans “haven’t even seen the full Russell experience yet.”
“He’s very hot. He’s the thing. You’ll see,” he teased.
Also on the Page Six podcast, Guerdy said Martina, 66, is “doing very well” after being diagnosed with throat and breast cancer.
“It looks very, very positive,” he confirmed. “And it’s on the prevention side, when we know, it’s early. And we are [pray] and that’s it. We’re keeping our heads down and [hoping] for the best for him.”
“I talked to him [Julia Lemigova, 50] as soon as it happens. We were supposed to get together for my birthday, but obviously, he had to take care of some medical things for Martina,” she said. “She’s in great spirits, that’s good news.”
As RHOM fans can remember, Martina and Julia were featured in a heartwarming scene in the picture, during which they shared a kiss while taking a dip in the water at home in Florida, before Martina publicly announced the diagnosis.
“The good thing about it is that it happened [the diagnosis announcement] synchronized with the episode,” said Guerdy. “That’s it White Lotus in the imagery of the last scene in the episode where Julia is hiding in the water. The best scene of the entire season so far is, for me.
