Crystal Kung Minkoff is reportedly being sued by a woman who claims she was “suddenly and violently” rear-ended by a vehicle allegedly belonging to her The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and his wife Rob Minkoff.
Crystal was the first to join RHOBA in season 11, and he is currently in the middle of filming season 13. Currently, it is not clear whether the lawsuit will be in the season of the episode.
Per legal documents obtained by TMZ, the woman’s name Candice Shahandeh-Rad alleged that he was rear-ended “suddenly and violently” after getting stopped at the Los Angeles freeway off-ramp. The collision allegedly caused him to hit the vehicle in front of him.
The document shows that the pop singer Jeffrey Kang, Crystal’s brother, was driving when the accident happened. Candice alleged Jeffrey got out of the vehicle, a Mercedes-Benz, and “admitted he was distracted,” but the document does not explain more details about how or why.
The outlet was told not in RHOBA star or her husband Rob (Disney’s director The Lion King) was in the vehicle, although Candice believed the couple owned a Benz and hired Jeffrey as their driver.
Plaintiff claims he sustained injuries from the accident as well as damage to his own vehicle. Candice sued Rob, Jeffrey, and Crystal for anxiety, loss of enjoyment of life, mental anguish, and pain resulting from the collision.
