Teddy Mellencamp may hold a diamond on TV, but his wife and children are the real jewels in his life.
At The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and husband Edwin Arroyave are the parents of daughter Slate and son Cruz. The founder of Skyline Security Management is also the father of daughter Isabella from a previous relationship.
Us Weekly broke the news in September 2019 that Mellencamp was pregnant with their third child after the couple struggled with fertility issues.
“Edwin was like, ‘It’s meant to be!’ We are both just over the moon!” Bravo stars gushed to us in time. “Even though at the end I was like, ‘I took a test and it was positive,’ she was like, ‘We have to go to the doctor! I don’t trust this test! Are you taking different vitamins that might show up and say you’re pregnant?'”
The accountability coach admits she doesn’t know how she got pregnant naturally after multiple rounds of IVF and suffering more than one miscarriage, but she’s “so glad it happened!”
“Doctors say it happens sometimes,” he said us. “There’s no real reason, maybe it’s because you’ve taken the pressure off and your body is more relaxed to get pregnant?”
The Mellencamp and Arroyave kids are also “excited” to have another sibling.
“They had been talking about it for a long time and, actually, my daughter was like, ‘Mom, we have to have another baby,'” Mellencamp said. us. “And I never wanted to expect him. So when we told people, he went through the roof. Like, amazing. So happy.”
