Kyle Richards offers an update on his relationship with his sister, Kathy Hiltonduring an event earlier this week.
Ahead of production in the upcoming 13th season of The Real Housewives of Beverly HillsKyle admits he and Kathy still don’t speak after getting hurt in season 12 and offers some parenting advice to his niece. Paris Hiltonwho received the first child with your husband Carter Rheum last month.
“I haven’t seen it yet [Kathy] in a while, I haven’t seen him in a while,” Kyle, 54, told Page Six at the American Heart Association Red Dress Collection Concert on Friday. “It hasn’t been good since the reunion to be honest.”
After Kyle’s longtime friend and now former star, Add Chestaccused Kathy of suffering a “psychotic break” in Aspen, during which she allegedly threatened to “destroy” Kyle and the family, Kathy fired back, admitting she was “set up” by Lisa and Erika Jayne and stated that he would not return to the show if brought back. However, Kathy later changed the song.
Kathy also targeted Kyle on social media after the reunion taping in October, asking an RHOBA The viewer who expressed pity for Kyle, “Why is he sad and crying? I’m the one [was] bullied and [persecuted] for 10 months!”
But after also including a statement that said, “Quite cruel and disgusting,” Kathy’s rep insisted that she did not label Kyle “cruel and disgusting,” but explained how she felt she was treated in the show.
Moving on to Page Six, Kyle said that he and Kathy have been “very” upset and said that he hopes the dynamic won’t make things awkward during the filming of the movie. RHOBA season 13.
“Welcome to my life,” she said. “My whole life is awkward!”
Also on the show, Kyle spoke to E! News, suggested Paris, who said she would be a “good mother.”
“You get out of kids what you put into it,” Kyle said. “A lot of other people are working mothers, so it’s different, but you really get what you put into your kids. That’s the best way I’ve ever done it.
“She’s always amazing with her animals,” Kyle added. “She’s a good dog and animal mom, so I think she’ll be a great baby mom.”
Although Kyle has yet to meet baby boy Paris, she suggests that she will have a lot to lean on as she adjusts to her new life as a mother, especially her sister. Nicky Hilton-Rothschildwho shares three children with his wife James Rothschild.
“Nicky is an unbelievable mom,” Kyle said. “She’s a really nice, laid-back mom. I’m always impressed because I’m so nervous with my kids when they’re like, ‘Oh, if they touch this? Will they get hurt?’ And he was very relaxed and chilled.
“Hopefully, Paris will learn from her mother and aunt, and what she saw with her sister and aunt,” he added.
