In real life, Prince Harry and Princess Meghan Markle are living the best life.
He has a massive streaming deal, a colossal memoir, and despite a lot of bad press, yes, King Charles invited him to his coronation.
The thing about negative, but artificial, publicity is that other people like to pile it on.
Rebel Wilson did just that in a recent interview, claiming Meghan was “not hot” when they met. But it might be there very good reason for that.
When a person’s first name is Rebel, it is probably unfair to expect that they will live up to that in every aspect of life. It’s probably better not to, in some cases.
But Rebel certainly isn’t himself to the media narrative surrounding Meghan Markle.
Don’t misunderstand. He’s not immediately licking Charles’ boot or fawning over William like many British tabloids have been doing. But…well, he had something to say.

So, when their mother visited, the two went to Santa Barbara and met Harry and Meghan.
“We went to Santa Barbara [and] with Harry. [He] couldn’t be better,” Rebel thought.
However, Rebel says Meghan Markle is “not as cool” as her husband.
“He’s not naturally warm,” Rebel explained.
“And my mum, who’s Australian, just asked her all the rather rude questions … like, ‘Where are your children?’ and so on,” he explained. “So maybe he is [wasn’t happy].”
Asking impolite questions is an interesting way to impress others.
But perhaps Rebel’s mother is not to blame for Meghan’s rudeness
Some people have a natural frosty nature, and believe that people should get things like obvious friendliness. But that doesn’t mean Meghan is like this.
Sometimes, the cold is very personal.
Last year, Rebel appeared at the BAFTA Awards, where she joked that she was a match for the British character Harry and Meghan.
“The next package is for Outstanding British Film. From drama to horror to fantasy,” Rebel said at the time. “Harry and Meghan’s interview with Oprah has it all.”
In other words, Meghan described some of the most painful moments during the interview. Rebel accused the interview of being, at least in part, “fantasy.”
So yes, that could explain the frosty behavior.
Making fun of people on stage, in front of the camera, is no secret. Especially if you are already famous. Rebel has every right to make jokes, but Meghan doesn’t have to act like she’s the best bud.
