James Kennedy will appear to defend his relationship with his girlfriend Ally Lewber at Vanderpump Rules premier
When he called Ally on the way to do a DJ set at SUR Restaurant, and Rachel Lewis talking to co-stars Charlie Burnett in his own drive to the waiter at the venue, James addresses claims that he has moved too quickly from the engagement to Raquel, which was canceled at the end of 2021, before James and Ally went public.
“Hello my love, how is work?” James asked Ally in the season 10 episode, shown by Bravo’s The Daily Dish on February 2. “I hope you don’t work so late so you can come. I miss you.”
While James is “excited” to appear on SUR, telling Ally it “should be a big night,” he also notes that Raquel will be working.
“Wow, that would be fun,” Ally sarcastically replied as James said, “Uh, not really.”
In a confessional, James opened up about his romance with Ally, admitting the two of them met a week after the split and Raquel’s.
“I met Ally about five or six weeks after Raquel and I broke up. A lot of people want to say that it was too soon, but you can’t make a date about love,” he said. “I’m not a guy who wants, just wants a girlfriend to f-ck, like, live with a girl, unless I really want it, you know what I mean? I need that – in my bed every time I wake up.”
Meanwhile, as they drive to SUR, Raquel tells Charli that she’s going to a restaurant.
“Are you nervous to see James?” Charlie asked.
“I mean, a little bit,” Raquel admitted, noting that she had previously met Ally at an awards show.
“I went to say, ‘Hello.’ He introduced me to Ally, and then I ran away,” he recalled of the meeting with himself.
She then lit up a bit, adding, “I don’t know anything about James’ new girlfriend other than she looks like his mom. She has some real mommy issues.
Later on Pump Rules episode, Raquel is seen arriving at SUR, where Peter Madrigal have been working.
“So the other night was a lot of fun,” he told his co-star of the date they went after he and James broke up.
“Yes,” he agreed.
“Peter is the first person to ask me out since I broke up with James. I wouldn’t say that Petrus is my type, but Petrus is like a real man, not a boy,” Raquel said in a statement.
Then, after Peter suggested the two of them to get nachos he’d hoped to indulge in the previous date, Raquel made her intentions clear.
“I want to keep it very casual, low-key,” she tells me.
