Scheana Shay is to “serve[d]” papers with “not legal” meaning “of Andy Cohen at Rachel Lewis‘ on his behalf Vanderpump Rules reunion, according to Scheana’s attorney

The 28-year-old was reportedly granted a temporary restraining order against Scheana, who is accused of assaulting Raquel over his relationship with her. Tom Sandoval in relation to Ariana Madix. According to certain reports, Raquel claims Scheana punched her in the face, and on March 29 the court will decide whether to make the restraining order permanent. The lawyer also shared how he would fight the assault charge, if the case goes to trial.

“Rachel had Andy ‘serve’ Scheana with documents during the reunion, but the papers have no legal meaning,” said Scheana’s attorney, Naema Rahmanireferring to Raquel’s legal name in an interview with Page Six.

“It’s a request to dismiss a complaint or lawsuit, but Rachel is asking for a permanent restraining order, which is completely different.”

The attorney continued, “There is no way for Rachel to ‘stop’ the temporary restraining order before next week’s hearing. This is California law and even on the court’s website.

When Naema said that Raquel had Andy “serve” her costar, the insider revealed that she was just handing over a printed document, which Raquel meant to submit.

Naema explained that Raquel’s documents “were not submitted to the court,” and “there was no file stamp in the upper right corner” to make it official.

“This is just another public relations stunt by Rachel and her team,” the lawyer said. “If Rachel really wanted to get over this, she would have come out and said publicly that the ‘hit’ never happened and that she’s sorry for all the hurt she caused Scheana, Ariana, and the rest of her friends.”

On the morning of the taping, Naema confirmed that Scheana would physically attend the reunion. “Scheana will be on set today. Scheana has every intention of following the law, but she wants to be a part of the reunion,” the lawyer said. “Scheana and ‘Vanderpump Rules’ will ensure that Scheana stays 100 yards away from complying with the restraining order.”

Naema went on to say that there is “no real way” for the temporary restraining order to be lifted, and that it will remain in effect until the court hearing – which is set for March 29.

“It would have been a mistake if Rachel hadn’t tried,” the lawyer said. “And if Rachel tries, Scheana is going to call witnesses and provide evidence to refute her false accusations.”

In a separate interview for Us WeeklyNaema indicated she plans to contest the assault charges, if the case does go to trial.

“If it happens, we will certainly present evidence in our question that the discolorations predated this alleged attack,” said Naema. “I mean, they’ve been there for months, so we’re going to present evidence that the black eye that Raquel allegedly had wasn’t a black eye.

“Scheana is intent on fighting and she wants to win,” added Naema, who said “a lot can happen” in the days leading up to the court date. “It’s up to Raquel to move forward next week. If they do, Scheana will defend herself, and they will call witnesses and they will testify, and Raquel will have to testify. So, it means minirial. So, we will have direct testimony, whether on March 29 or later.
