As you know by now, Rachel Lewis and Tom Sandoval caught having an affair for months – even though the 39-year-old business owner has been hooking up with his co-workers (and friends) Ariana Madix. Since then, the cast members have been vocal about the whole situation. But for Raquel? Beyond a public apology to Ariana and a few follow-up statements, she has remained pretty quiet about what happened.
Considering the cameras were rolling again after news of their relationship broke, most people assumed the 28-year-old was saving her comments for the show and the reunion. “I know I have to take responsibility for my actions, so I’m ready to do that.”
But when he takes responsibility for his affairs when it comes to his ex-bestie Ariana? He points out that the two have spoken – but it’s not a good word (understandably):
“We talked on the phone. And I apologized via SMS, but he didn’t take it well.
When asked what Ariana’s response was, Raquel said she “would rather not say it,” adding:
“But just know it’s not well received.”
What do you want? For him to just get over it quickly and accept an apology even though he has been involved with a girlfriend behind him back for about seven months?! Speaking of which, Raquel (for example) spoke about her relationship with Sandoval, explaining:
“It started as a friendship, and it became more. But I’m sure everything will be told tomorrow at the reunion.”

“We will attend the reunion tomorrow.”

“It’s been a lot. I have quit social media altogether. I have advised you to do so. But there have been many. But I felt there were consequences to my actions and I didn’t think too much of them. So here we are.”
“Don’t think too much.” Yes, think??? And of course, one person who has been very vocal about her opinion of Raquel is none other than that Lala Kentrung. So the 32-year-old is not surprised when talking about the reaction, because the reporter said he was “aggressive” towards her recently. Raquel said:
“Yeah, he’s always aggressive towards me.”
When asked why she thinks Lala is “so good,” she admits that she’s not always good:
“You’ll have to ask him that question, but I think I always rub him the wrong way.”
We can be sure Lala will have a reason to post on social media…
What does that have to do with Sandoval? Raquel finally doesn’t understand now:
“I don’t know where the relationship is going to be. We’re just trying to get through the next few steps and try to make mistakes – listen to everyone. I know a lot of people are angry. So I thought I’d just go through the next few steps and see where it goes. We don’t label anything. Now we’re just resting.”
Hmm… Was this decided before the two kissed on camera or after?
We guess this is supposed to be “dada” chit-chatting about Scandoval as Raquel’s way to get the word out about the situation since the cast will no doubt go OFF on her and Sandoval during the reunion taping. Who knew they would get the word out?! It could be another season 7 reunion that everyone is clamoring for. However, it will definitely be an explosive episode.
