Rachel Lewis is dismissing her restraining order against him Scheana Shay.
After negotiations broke down between the legal teams on Thursday Vanderpump Rules recording of the reunion, Raquel has confirmed plans to put her case against Scheana, who is accused of punching her in the midst of an altercation reportedly prompted by the open relationship with her. Tom Sandoval.
“I can confirm that my attorney took my case off the court calendar Wednesday and filed the appropriate documents that the court requested today to remove the TRO from moving forward after the 29th. We let the court know I will not move forward with a permanent restraining order. My team is trying to work with Scheana about a mutually beneficial agreement in hopes of getting the TRO down early so they can film [the Vanderpump Rules reunion] together,” Raquel confirmed in a statement to Entertainment Tonight on March 24.
“The TRO was intended to provide a cooling-off period after I was punched but I don’t want to continue with a permanent RO or I don’t want to cause Scheana more suffering and stress,” he added.
Although Raquel has hosted Andy Cohen “Serve” Scheana with a document detailing her plan to place the order Pump Rules reunion, Scheana’s lawyer, Naema Rahmanitoward Reality Blurbvia email, which “papers have no legal meaning.”
“It’s a request to reject a complaint or a civil lawsuit, but Rachel has asked for permanent restraining, which is something completely different,” he explained.
According to the lawyer, there is no way for Raquel to drop her plea before Tuesday’s hearing.
“Even though Rachel had the right documents, she didn’t submit them to the court,” he said. “There is no file stamp in the upper right corner. This is just another public relations stunt by Rachel and her team. If Rachel really wanted to get this out of the way, she would come out and say publicly that the ‘hit’ never happened and she apologizes for all the hurt she caused. did Scheana, Ariana, and other friends.
Naema then says that if Raquel really wants her case against Scheana to go away, she should tell everyone that she was never assaulted and that her accusations against Scheana are lies.
“It won’t undo the damage he caused, and he still filed a false police report, but it will get him on the road to resolving the legal issue,” he said.
However, Raquel insisted that the document was a dismissal form.
“I wanted to show Scheana my intention and we have informed the judge that we are not moving forward – and that is the explanation at the reunion to alleviate Scheana’s concerns,” she explained.
According to Entertainment Tonight, Raquel and Scheana’s team is trying to work out an agreement that would allow them to film together at the reunion. However, as seen in the placement for the two women, the talks fell apart.
“Raquel’s team, with their knowledge of production, is trying to find an acceptable resolution with Scheana to help get the TRO down before filming so they can attend the reunion together,” a source said. “Raquel’s team suggested that they both agreed that the argument escalated and became physical, but that both women wanted to move forward, agreeing that there was nothing wrong, that they would stop talking about it after the reunion, and that they would stop making derogatory comments related to the incident after the reunion.”
The insider later said that Scheana rejected the offer, forcing production to find a solution.
“Team Scheana wants Raquel to say the punch never happened, and Raquel refuses,” they added.
