Peter Madrigal and Dayna Kathan don’t believe Rachel Lewis checked into a treatment center last week to deal with mental health issues.
On Saturday, after Raquel announced, through her representative, that she asked for help after being in a relationship for several months. Tom Sandovalat Vanderpump Rules The star spoke out against her on Instagram, saying she is now in a “spa”, not a mental health facility.
“Raquel and her family decided before the relationship was discovered that she would enter a voluntary facility for mental health counseling,” a statement from Raquel’s representative said on Friday. “Raquel had planned to confess herself before the VPR reunion taped on March 23. She was scheduled for the pre-reunion but decided she wanted to fulfill her filming commitments. Bravo and production understand and support her journey to better mental health.
As Pump Rules fans can recall, Raquel mentioned her mental health struggles in an apology statement last month, which included a nod to Ariana Madixa victim of her and Sandoval’s relationship.
“[I am] reflecting on my choices, talking to a counselor and I learned about myself such as patterns of dependence and dependency to be and feel loved,” he explained at the time. “I sought emotional validation through unhealthy intimate relationships without regard for my own well-being, sometimes having a negative impact other people and often prioritize intimate relationships over my friends. I took steps to understand my behavior and make healthier choices.
But after confirming she entered treatment, Raquel was questioned.
“It’s not a mental facility! It’s a Spa Resort,” wrote Peter in a comment shared on an Instagram post from The original Vanderpump on Instagram, which stated that Raquel had been treated.
“She’s at the spa,” Dayna added in a comment on the post from Glorified Gossip Girl.
Meanwhile, in response to the speculation, an insider assured Us Weekly that Raquel was “not at the ‘spa,’ the Miraval Resort, or anything else.”
“Those who want to jump on the bandwagon for relevance and spread misinformation and rumors should not only consider Raquel’s situation but also consider all those who struggle with mental health who see how people react to this situation,” the source said. “It’s just going to make it harder for them to find help.”
