Rachel Lewis has filed a restraining order against him Scheana Shay.
After reports claimed Scheana allegedly punched Raquel in the face after finding out about her six-month relationship with her friend. Ariana Madixhis girlfriend has been gone for a long time, Tom Sandovalin New York City last week, court documents confirmed the Vanderpump Rules star’s submission when he apologized publicly.
In the image from the file, shown by Bravo Snark Side on Instagram, it was revealed that Raquel filed a Civil Harassment case against Scheana in East Van Nuys Court on March 7th, and a restraining order hearing has been set for March 29th at 8:30 am
According to a report from PEOPLE, Raquel took her plea to the Los Angeles Superior Court. And while the reason for her filing has not been clarified, an insider told the outlet that Scheana was “furious” when she learned that Raquel had been reported to be having an affair with Sandoval.
“Him and all Vanderpump Rules costars have rallied around Ariana during this time. He couldn’t believe that Raquel would do something like that,” the source said.
And while Scheana has yet to speak out about the rumored physical encounter, Raquel’s sister Kate suggested she was hit on by Scheana on Twitter after Charlie Burnett said that “no one deserves” the gut punch Ariana received from Sandoval and Raquel.
“No, punched in the face,” Kate replied.
Then, after allegedly “defending” Raquel, Kate added, “Not defending, but not condoning physical violence either.”
As Raquel prepares to face off with Scheana in court, she shared a statement of apology with Entertainment Tonight, in which she confirmed that she was “physically attacked” but did not say by whom.
“I want to apologize for my actions and choices that are most important to Ariana, and to my friends and fans who have invested in our relationship. There is no excuse, I am not a victim and I should have acted and I am very sorry for hurting Ariana,” he said Raquel in a March 8 statement, which came just hours after Sandoval shared an apology to Ariana on Instagram.
“I thought about my choices, talked to a counselor and I learned about myself such as patterns of dependence and addiction to be and feel loved. I have been looking for emotional validation through unhealthy intimate connections without regard for myself as well-which, sometimes affects others and often prioritizing intimate connections over friends. I took steps to understand my behavior and make healthier choices,” he continued.
Raquel later said that she chose to be on a reality show and has learned to accept “the good and the bad of it,” that she has been “physically attacked, lost friendships, received death threats and hate mail in addition to having my privacy violated.”
In the end, Raquel describes the work she does herself.
“I have started counseling to stop the cycle of unhealthy behavior, learn to set stronger emotional boundaries and learn to protect my mental health,” she said. “I do not expect sympathy, understanding or forgiveness. Now I need to focus on my own health and well-being and as I strive to become a better person, I will prioritize my mental health and learning from my mistakes.
Later, Raquel posted the same apology on her Instagram page.
