Was Rachel Lewis‘ legal drama with Scheana Shay just a PR stunt?
Now you know that the 28-year-old reality star previously obtained a temporary restraining order against her friends, claiming that her mother punched her when she found out about his relationship with her. Tom Sandoval. The 37-year-old denied attacking Raquel, claiming “dark signs around [Leviss’] the left eye has been there for months.” He even went so far as to accuse her of “sabotaging” the Season 10 reunion because the two weren’t allowed to interact or be within 100 meters of each other at the time. Yes, Raquel exercise ended up the day after the Reunion was filmed – even though the court hearing was not scheduled until a few days later on March 29. Or did he??

As you may remember, Raquel doubled down on Wednesday that a physical altercation took place, leaving a “permanent mark” on her left eyebrow. Either way, these legal matters have obviously complicated things when it comes to the reunion, forcing production to get creative and causing castmates to switch places during Thursday’s filming.
But in a shocking surprise, Raquel announced her decision to drop her request to stay in custody on Friday — and claimed it was all Scheana’s fault they couldn’t film the reunion together:
“My team is trying to work with Scheana on a mutually beneficial agreement in hopes of getting the TRO down first so we can film. [the reunion episode] together. The TRO was meant to provide a cooling-off period after I punched but I don’t want to continue with a permanent RO or I don’t want to cause Scheana more suffering and stress.
Seriously???
Tomorrow’s reunion now, don’t you have a permanent scar?? The timing of the latest update on the legal drama is a little cheesy, if you ask. And we’re not the only ones who think so. A source told Page Six on Friday that Raquel should have dropped her request for a permanent restraining order as “just another PR stunt,” adding:
“There is no mechanism to terminate civil temporary restraining orders (TROs) early, unlike domestic violence temporary restraining orders.”
So his announcement means nothing? Wild!
The insider further accused Raquel of trying to avoid “going in front of the judge”, saying:
“Raquel made a false statement to get a TRO against Scheana and knows that having to hold people accountable in front of a judge is not in her best interest.”
Remember the former pageant queen (instead of sending it to Darrell) already Andy Cohen served Scheana with fake legal documents in the middle of the reunion, it wouldn’t be surprising if this latest move already PR stunt.
And innerestingly enough, Raquel claims her lawyer removed the castmates’ hearing from the court calendar and submitted the appropriate documents requested by the court today to eliminate everything. But, Page Six noted that ON Waitress never needed Scheana’s permission to end the restraining petition – so she could end it even though she couldn’t agree and she really wanted to end the “pain and stress” of the situation before the reunion. It didn’t look good for Raquel.
It is also unknown when the PRO case will be dropped as the outlet reported that Los Angeles Superior Court the calendar still has a hearing scheduled for March 29. Hmm. And as Scheana’s lawyer previously stated:
“There is no way for Rachel to ‘stop’ the temporary restraining order before next week’s hearing. This is California law and even on the court’s website.
Can he just end it all? Could they be in trouble, assuming the source is correct? Reaction, Perezcious readers? Let us know in the comments below.
