Rachel Lewis has fired off a legal letter for him Vanderpump Rules castmates and friends in the hope of preventing the potential release of the intimate FaceTime session she has been with Tom Sandoval.
Less than a week after Raquel’s alleged month-long relationship with Sandoval was revealed to the public, Sandoval reportedly left Raquel’s longtime boyfriend and close friend, Ariana Madix“blind,” Raquel’s attorneys cited California’s hate porn laws, which state that the clip was recorded without permission.
The recording was “illegally made without Raquel’s knowledge or consent,” the lawyer said, as reported by TMZ.
According to the outlet, California’s revenge porn law, which bans “nonconsensual pornography,” makes it a crime to “invade another person’s privacy and distribute such material.” So, if someone distributes the video in any way, whether it’s by selling it, sharing it on social media, or sending it to a friend, it’s illegal.
While Sandoval was the only other person involved, he was not charged with a crime. However, Raquel’s lawyer has asked that anyone with a copy of the clip immediately delete it.
“This matter must be taken seriously,” they warned.
In another Pump Rules news, a clip of Raquel that recently resurfaced when she attended Sandoval’s July 2022 soft opening and Tom Schwartz’s latest bar, Schwartz & Sandy’s, shows the former beauty queen talking about her relationship with Sandoval and revealing what she loves about him.
“I’ve been very close with Scheana [Shay] and Ariana and Tom Sandoval too,” Raquel told E! News at the time. “I think she’s been one of my best friends lately.”
“He’s just in touch with himself and accepting who he is and being very confident,” she said. “I don’t know. I think she looks like a little sister and she supports me in a very good way. He is an amazing person.
