Who is the mistress now? In this episode of Vanderpump Rules, Rachel will be dragged into a messy marriage, and Lalaanniversary out some interesting information. The Easter egg in this episode is hinting at it Scandalous the highest, and it’s almost hard to focus on anything else…
Katie came by to scoop up the connection dog, and it was still a bit tense with Schwartz behind Katie after Raquel hook-up. When Schwartz tries to talk about Schwartz and Sandy messing with him, Katie removes herself from the conversation because she realizes she just doesn’t have to help people anymore. He is a bit upset by her behavior and feels like Katie is blowing this kiss out of proportion. He even went as far as saying that he felt like he was more upset over *this* kiss than when he cheated on her when they were together.
After taking some photos for Raquel’s new Hinge profile (eye roll), Charlie letting Raquel know that her kiss with Schwartz was unpleasant. I love hearing Charli say, “I wouldn’t do that to my worst enemy.” Raquel explains that she doesn’t see a future with Schwartz, but she’s going out with Oliver – yes, Oliver (Garcelle’s the son that Raquel made in Vegas). interesting.
At Schwartz and Sandy’s, Schwartz shared that he feels a renewed sense of “optimism” about the venue’s opening. Toms now knows that this place is not going to open as expected – they still need kitchen staff, just like yesterday, and on top of that, the kitchen manager has been fired while Toms is in Mexico. Sandoval explaining that he was “open or arrested.” They go on and on about how much money they spend, but they don’t realize that they can’t open their doors if they don’t have a chef who can make the food right. Believe it or not, Schwartz was the voice of reason and tried to shake Sandoval back to reality after the tantrum.
Katie moved to Ariana‘s to practice perfecting the sandwich. The sandwich shop is really coming back to life – they’ve signed a lease and things are starting to show up. Katie explained how she saw Schwartz for like five minutes, and Sandoval let Katie know that he didn’t think it was a big problem: “Two decent-looking men” decided to make out. (Can we talk about how people are called DECENT?!) Ariana reminds Sandoval that Schwartz is in the wrong and tells Katie that Raquel is not a “whore”, as Katie suggested. Katie realized that she shouldn’t be surprised by Schwartz’s behavior.
Katie is questioned by Sandoval for calling Yes Wenberg, Schwartz’s roommate. Katie explains that Jo “literally Christian Doutecrazy friend.” And it says a lot. Sandoval believes there should be some “healthy” separation between Katie and Schwartz. Katie explains that if Schwartz broke his promise, he doesn’t deserve to be friends.
See You Next Tuesday in full swing, and LVP has entered the building. James talk to him about Mexico, and he tells her that Schwartz made out with Raquel. LVP is not surprised, and she calls out James for being jealous.
After she talks to James, LVP makes her way to Toms. Of course, Raquel was his server, and the way Sandoval looked at her now made sense. LVP calls out Sandoval for smiling too much when Raquel plops down between the Toms. Foreshadowing! Sandoval lets Raquel know that Katie called her a whore, and Raquel loses. She talks about how she needs to be around people who “recharge her batteries” (that’s Sandoval to her?!), and when Sandoval locks eyes with her and tells her she’s not a whore, it’s ironic.
Lala has Katie, Christinaand Allies passed, and they discussed Lala again. Raquel, Schwartz, and Charli weren’t invited to the birthday party, but Katie decided to bring them Satchel, he is young, a novice. This relationship has been going on for a long time, but since she now knows that Schwartz has no respect for her, it is time to live and bring her.
The Toms roll up to LVP’s house, and we learn that Rose, LVP’s mini horse, died. LVP tells the guys that even though they feel “less emotional,” they still have to make it business. Sandoval points out that the head chef and kitchen staff have been fired, but Schwartz warns that “all you’re doing is freaking out” about being open, but he’s not doing anything to help the situation. Sandoval was thrilled when Schwartz called him out for going to band practice and getting his nails done instead of solving restaurant problems, and since he was a kid, Sandoval was the one who pissed him off.
Later, Ariana explained that two years ago, she froze her eggs. She asked Sandoval to fertilize her eggs, even though she wasn’t sure if she wanted to have children. Sandoval worries about this topic, and he tells Ariana that it is “sometimes difficult” to talk about things with him. Ariana reminds her that she is allowed to have a different perspective. Sandoval believes Ariana is too quick to judge others and feels Ariana thinks he’s stupid. This is one of the “many” times Sandoval claims he tried to break up with Ariana?
LVP hosted Garcelle and her son, Oliver, for a few drinks at SUR. LVP sings Oliver’s praises and then hears all about the night he made out with Raquel. Oliver shared how he had planned a date with Raquel since it was here in LA, and he made a point of talking that he was very separate from his wife.
While preparing for Lala’s party, Ally talks to James about the bomb she dropped last night with the girls. He let everyone know that he saw Sandoval and Raquel dancing together at the Abbey at one am. He was worried about what might happen now that this information had been shared.
Lala likes to celebrate this birthday single, and she hopes to end her night with some kind of birthday. He also can’t wait to let Raquel know that Oliver really isn’t broken up with, like he did before.
We learn that Raquel got a DM saying it was Oliver not separated from his wife. As Raquel shares this information with Brock and Scheana, Brock suggests that Raquel approaches her ex. He actually had his wife’s phone number, and Raquel actually called her. She apologizes and shows that she is also happy that Oliver lied to her. Raquel calls Oliver manipulative all the while Lala calls Raquel a mistress. Raquel plans to confront Oliver on a “date” this evening, and Scheana is worried that Raquel will be dragged on social media (if she finds out…).
Katie debuted a new man, Satchel, who looks like “he’s getting groomed on Vanderpump Dogs” – Scheana. They weren’t the only duo out on the night. Raquel is clearly still dating Oliver because of #ratings. I mean, now she really knows that they are not separated, like her husband is angry and conversational.
Oliver explains that he was “put in” by his son’s mother, and Raquel tells her that she talked to her husband. Oliver looks caught and tells Raquel he’s had his own place for eight months. Oliver denies having sex with his wife the night he hooked up with Raquel in Vegas, and also apologizes for dragging Raquel into the mess. Raquel is furious with Oliver, and she claims she won’t try to insert herself into the mess (yet).
Raquel then crashes Lala’s birthday and asks Scheana out so she can talk about her conversation with Oliver. Scheana suggests Raquel come in so she can talk to Lala, and when she shows her face, Lala is happy to give her a chance to call her mistress. When Raquel and Lala went outside to talk, Sandoval walked up next to Katie.
Sandoval had a hard time watching Katie revel in Raquel’s troubles, and Katie replied, “You get a lot of fun out of Raquel, too.” Katie reminds Sandoval that she was with Raquel at one o’clock at the Abbey. Sandoval refused, a natural reaction, but his face… well, that’s a different story.
Meanwhile, Raquel apologizes to Lala. He admits that he’s a mistress now (he doesn’t know), and Raquel says she doesn’t know how easily people can mislead you. Lala is happy to see that Raquel has learned and reminds her that women always get into trouble. Lala tells Raquel she doesn’t “want beef” with her, and even after all the sh*t she says, Lala hugs out with Raquel. He told Raquel, “Don’t let anyone tell you that you’re mad.” Is this a truce?
