“I’ve always been on my own path. My mom taught me to be financially independent and I’ve always seen her hustle and be an entrepreneur on the show,” Avery said in awe of Ramona.
Avery considers Ramona’s divorce from her father, Mario Singerwhich is shown in RHONYto inspire her love of event planning.
“The silver lining of my divorced parents is that I have now done the mother and father-daughter journey. We go to countries or cities that I’ve never been to before and I just look at the itinerary of where we’re staying, what we’re doing,” he said.
Meanwhile, Ramona could not be happier for her daughter’s success, and said she always wanted to instill a healthy work ethic in Avery.
“I’m proud of him because the only thing I want for him is to be financially independent,” said the Pinot Grigio winemaker. “Love what you do, and the money will come, and there’s nothing better than being able to work for yourself.”
