Just because Rachel Recchia’s romance didn’t work out (so far at least) doesn’t mean she didn’t gain anything from her time in the spotlight.
At The Bachelorette alum makes good friends along the way. And clearly, they know it’s time to make some long overdue changes.
After much consideration and research, even asking fans to share their experiences, she chose to undergo breast reduction surgery.
Now, Rachel has followed suit. He is now recovering with the help of a dear friend.

Recently, Rachel Recchia took to social media to walk fans through the process from pre-op preparation to recovery.
Rachel went under the knife on March 7. Obviously, fans asked how she did it after receiving red milk.
“I’m fine, thank you very much,” said one fan. Rachel tells the others that she is “better than I thought.”

Even though Rachel’s on-screen romance ends with an off-screen split, she doesn’t have to go through this alone.
Earlier this week, she shared that her roommate, Genevieve Parisi – who we know from the same franchise – braided her hair.
“The night before, Gen braided my hair so I wouldn’t have rats tomorrow,” Rachel explained. “Last day with milk… want to see your nipples?” He, it became clear, was joking.

She also shares her pre-surgery skin care routine as well as the fit for a trip to the operating room.
You don’t want to overdo it. Black sweatpants and a matching black hoodie are more than enough.
Rachel changed into her hospital gown before the operation, showing herself in high spirits before the procedure.

Fast forward to post-op, and Rachel is back in her hoodie.
Obviously, underneath, he’s wearing a bandage, which sticks out from above the collar. One imagines that he is experiencing discomfort.
Later, she explains that Genevieve helps her – and she even has a bell to ring if she needs a hand.

Comments poured in, wishing Rachel well and a speedy recovery.
Many commenters also praised Gen for being a good friend to him and helping him.
Genevieve also made a tongue-in-cheek post, semi-jokingly saying “I’m answering the bell now.”

“Nurse Gene!” Rachel commented. They are very sweet.
Meanwhile, Genevieve posted a more serious update, writing: “Rach is doing well after surgery.” He indicated that he was “just resting and being a low-maintenance patient.”
Gen then added: “He purposely planned the surgery yesterday so he couldn’t celebrate today, so now.”
