Punters think Rishi is going to be disappointed – politicalbetting.com

The big challenge facing Sunak in the general election is that unlike Labour, he needs to ensure that his party gets a clear majority in order to keep his job.

At the moment it is very difficult to see how Sunak can avoid 47 seat losses that will put him in Downing Street for another term out of reach. In many ways, what happened last time was artificial because of the way Jeremy Corbyn was seen by the electorate. The LAB leader then had terrible ratings as he entered polling day.

For some time Starmer has beaten Sunak in the leadership ranks and although he lacks the electoral magic of Tony Blair, he seems to be in the right job at the right time for someone with ambitions to become Prime Minister.

I came to the view that Sunak is not very good perhaps because he was only MP for a relatively short time.

He has the support of the Daily Express despite not being a player.
