Earlier this month it will be recalled that Keir Starmer ruled that Corbyn should not be the LAB candidate at the next general election.

This has led to much speculation that he may seek to re-enter parliament by fighting without party support. That means he has to leave the party as a member who supports the campaign.

You can only end up with a situation where Corbyn stands against the official Labor candidate in the Islington constituency and clearly the Labor vote will be split.
