Lala Kentrung and Katie Maloney is in a better place after admitting the “vibes” were “off” between last week.
When it comes to Vanderpump Rules season 10 premiere party on Tuesday, Lala and Katie offered an update on their feud as Lala suggested they were close to Scheana Shay may have driven a wedge between them and they also dished on dating.
“It has been resolved. I know we both care about our friendship, we will have our ups and downs, we are a very happy group of people. But we’re good,” Lala told Daily Mail on February 7.
Meanwhile, Katie chalked up the tiff to “miscommunication or the lack of it” before noting that she was “in [mend].”
As Pump Rules As fans may have seen, Katie was the first to come forward with her and Lala’s drama, saying on her podcast, You Will Love Me, whose “vibes are definitely off.” Then, the next day, on his own podcast, Give them LalaLala agrees “the vibes are definitely off.”
Also on her podcast, Lala talks about a tense conversation about Instagram DMs, admitting that she forgot to say happy birthday to Katie.
“I got a lot of things. That’s the least of my attention. And I wish him a very happy birthday. I don’t mind if it’s his birthday because it’s MLK day. … I finished that space,” he explained. “And I have [my daughter] Ocean and he felt sick. So that’s it.”
Also in Pump Rules premiere party on Saturday, Lala spoke to Us Weekly about her friendship with Katie after being asked if her friendship with Scheana had anything to do with the drama between them.
“I think [Katie] have feelings for her, and I always want to make sure she feels protected and heard. And I feel like I’m back in a really good place,” Lala said. “But that’s what happens when you get a group like this.”
“We’re very excited, you know? We’re definitely feeling it, but I just hope that we can follow all my friends – even if we have to separate,” he said. “I just want everyone to know that I love you, I care about you, and how can I baby you when you don’t feel safe? I’m trying to baby you all.
And while Lala admits that she “wishes something would happen to break it all,” Katie says she’s “really in love.”[s] Lala” and “hope” their friendship remains intact.
“We’re better now. There was some misunderstanding, you know, miscommunication that happened between us,” Katie said. “We like to spend some time not talking for a while. And he spends some time with other people.
As Pump Rules fans also know, Katie’s relationship with Scheana has been rocky, at best, in recent years. And when Us Weekly asked Scheana where the two are now, Scheana seemed unsure, encouraging the outlet to “ask her.”
Also during an interview with Daily Mail, Lala and Katie talked about dating, stating that they will not do it in any application.
“There’s no application, just going out … See who I like,” Katie explained. “[It’s the] Being single for the first time since I was 24 is a very different season of life. It’s interesting but fun… [I’m] open and [enjoying] that.”
“No app,” Lala agreed. “I’m having the best time. I’m not dating but just having fun… just a few months.”
Katie then said when she and Tom Schwartz do your best to stay friends in the midst of a divorce, other people’s outside influences cause complications.
“We’re doing well but when people start joining and throwing their opinions in the hat… But for us, it’s mostly just trying to find a healthy balance of friendship with space. We’re getting there,” he shared.
