Ariana Madix may have struggled with her finances in the years leading up to her messy split from Tom Sandoval.
Just over a week after Sandoval alleged month-long relationship with Rachel Lewis revealed to the world, it has been revealed that Ariana was hit with two tax liens a month after she and Sandoval bought a $2 million mansion in Los Angeles, one in the amount of $37,598 and the other for $9,740.
According to a report from The US Sun on March 9, Ariana appears to have paid a lower lien. However, when the amount is larger, the lien has been “outstanding” since 2019.
The outlet also revealed that Ariana and Sandoval took precautions to avoid foreclosure after purchasing the Valley Village property, although it appeared to be at risk because she and Tom Schwartz “invested millions” into their newest bar, Schwartz & Sandy’s.
As explained by The US Sun, Ariana and Sandoval filed a rent clause, which allows the lender to collect rent payments from the mortgaged house “in the event of default by the borrower,” and reconveyance, which transfers the title of the property. from borrower to borrower.
Although Ariana and Sandoval still live at home, Christian Doutealong with other friends, have done their best to ease the tension.
In the latest episode of her podcast, Sex, Love and What ElseChristian remembers Sandoval’s initial return to the home after the rumored relationship was revealed, and explained the efforts he and others have made.
“He came home and walked straight through,” Kristen recalled, via OK! Magazine. “We were all just sitting there quietly, and he was like ‘Yeah, I know everybody hates me.'”
“Unfortunately, I have to respect that he shared the house. As I said ‘Get out’ – legally, he is allowed to be in the house. The best thing we can do now is to repeat what the law is,” he said.
When Kristen and one of the other mutual friends asked Sandoval to give them a heads-up before entering the house to allow Ariana a chance to leave, Sandoval reportedly refused to do so.
“Nobody said you can’t go home, but we have a mediator for you who is willing to be the mouthpiece between the two people and just say ‘Can you give him a few hours at least before you go home so he can go?'” Christian explained.
But he reportedly replied, “‘[Ariana] can leave if he’s not comfortable.’”
In other news, Ariana has returned to Instagram after shutting down her account on the heels of the “Scandoval” reveal.

After returning to social media, Ariana unfollowed or blocked Sandoval and Raquel.
