It took just a month for Todd Chrisley to report to prison to begin serving his time
But it seems life on the inside has taken its toll on the cheeky reality star.
Along with his wife, Julie Chrisley, Todd was convicted of tax evasion in…
He was sentenced to 12 years in prison for his crime, while Julie received a 9-year sentence.

Other than the felonious couple themselves, no one has been as profoundly affected by the scandal of Savannah Chrisley.
When Todd and Julie turned themselves in to authorities, Savannah became the legal guardian of her younger siblings, 16-year-old Grayson and 10-year-old Chloe.
So, in addition to the shock of her parents being sent to prison, Savannah has now taken on the role of mother in her brother and sister’s lives.

Savannah recently traveled to Florida to visit her father, who is locked up in a minimum security facility in the Sunshine State.
“I would say it’s weird to see him with gray hair, like, really weird!” Savannah spoke about Todd when discussing the trip on her podcast (via The Ashley’s Reality Roundup).
“He must have used some [hair] color for years and now seeing him with gray hair, it’s weird.

Savannah went on to say that the Chrisley Knows Best star is still imparting wisdom to the younger generation.
“My father is a father to those who don’t have a father figure…I am blessed [he gets] so that’s for people,” Savannah said.
“I am willing to share [him], but not for long. I’m still fighting.”

The fight that Savannah is talking about is her parents’ appeal process, which is already underway.

“Even visiting my father, I have hope and strength restored,” said Savannah.
“I know this is not the end. And I understand [my parents] will experience what we are going to do so that we can make a difference, so that we can make a change,” she said.

“Whether this appeal works or not, he’s still coming out with a story.”
Savannah said her mother, Julie Chrisley, is not happy behind bars, because her facility has ventilation problems and is accused of keeping prisoners in extremely hot conditions.
Savannah stated that service dogs cannot be kept at the Lexington, Kentucky-based Federal Medical Facility that is not air-conditioned, because doing so would be considered inhumane — but that was good enough for Julie.
Needless to say, Savannah may be feeling the pain of her parents’ appeal process.
