Diana’s brother, Earl Charles Spencer, however, disputed Trump’s boasting via his Twitter account, writing on Wednesday:
“Surprised to hear that Donald Trump apparently said that his sister Diana wanted to ‘kiss his ass,’ since when he mentioned her to me – when he used his good name to sell some real estate in New York – he clearly considered her worse than an anal fissure.
Trump’s display comes as he promotes his new book, “Letters To Trump.” The $99 tome reprints personal letters sent to Trump by world leaders, celebrities and royalty over the past 40 years.
Correspondence from the late Queen Elizabeth II, Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un also appeared, per promotional material. The book is scheduled to be released in April.
“I know everything — and everybody’s kissing my ass, and now I only have half of them kissing my ass,” Trump told right-wing Breitbart News about the people whose letters are featured in the book.
Spencer’s contempt for Trump may come as no surprise. Only a month after Diana died in 1997, Trump crassly insisted that he had been able to have sex with her, but on the condition that she would take an HIV test first.
