Prince Harry has returned The Late Show!
In a surprise appearance on Tuesday night’s episode of the talk show with Stephen Colbertwhich was originally recorded last month while he was promoting his memoir spare, the 38-year-old answers questions called “The Colbert Questionert.” Almost immediately, the Duke of Sussex realized that there were some language differences between the English and American terms used – and he admitted that he was having “problems” with his current wife. Meghan Markle when they first dated!

After opening his favorite sandwich (AKA “toastie”), Harry teased:
“I have to be careful with this question because America and England are very different. My husband and I had problems at the beginning of our relationship.”
This isn’t the first time he’s been honest about this! At spareat Invictus Game founder opened up about getting into a messy fight with Suit alum when he was “sloppily angry” – and it all started through some miscommunication, he wrote:
“Meg told me what I did wrong. It was partly a cultural difference, partly a language barrier, but I was also just over-sensitive at night. I thought: Why did he follow me? I snapped at him, told him harshly – cruelly. When the words came out from his mouth, I felt everything in the room stop.
After Meghan left the room for about 15 minutes to cool off, he found her in the bedroom and she was able to continue the conversation, with Archetypes the host put him in his place, he continued:
“He was calm, but he said it in a calm tone and he couldn’t stand being told that way. I nodded.”
In the quote it is not clear what led to the argument, but it is clear that whatever the difference in language, the problem is very serious!

The rest of the segment was more relaxed, although Meghan was concerned. When asked what his favorite smell was, Harry said “his wife”. Colbert then teased the guest about his own wife, Evelyn McGee-Colbertsaid:
“I can’t have another love in my life. Have you met my husband?”
Harry laughed:
“Yes, we met before. I have dinner plans with your husband.”
The comedian went on to say “nothing could make him happier” as he is a self-proclaimed “anglophile”. Colbert, on the other hand, doesn’t feel that way, he joked:
“I’m not mad at you for taking my family land in Ireland, no problem. I’m over it.”
Stephen then said the “only thing” he and his wife disagreed on was their relationship with the royal family. LOLz! You can hear more in our wild Q&A (below)!
