Prince Harry & Meghan Markle’s Kids Reportedly Have Not Been Invited To King Charles’ Coronation!

When Archie and Lily receive the title of Prince and Princess, the only one who doesn’t have one? An invitation to his grandfather King Charles‘ coronation ceremony in May.

As previously reported, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle was finally asked to attend the coronation via email after months of speculation about whether or not he would be invited. A spokesperson for the couple said at the time:

“I can confirm that the Duke has received email correspondence from His Majesty’s office regarding the coronation. An immediate decision on whether the Duke and Duchess will attend will not be revealed at this time.

Although the Sussexes accepted the invitation, The Sunday Telegraph report that 3-year-old son and 1-year-old daughter were not included in the correspondence with Buckingham Palace about the coronation at that time. And when asked about a potential invite to the event, a royal source said royal officials thought she was “too young” to attend. Well…

Meanwhile, Prince William and Princess Catherine AKA Kate MiddletonTwo children – 9 years old Prince George and 7 years Princess Charlotte – expected to attend, with the eldest son having a big role in the bash. As for his youngest son Prince Louis, which will be five years next month, some are reportedly still “pondering” whether they will be included. The report further states that Empress CamillaFive grandchildren will not only attend the historic event but will also play an official role in the coronation.

Yeesh! Is this a subtle way for the royal family to snub Meghan and Harry by giving their granddaughter Camilla the ceremony and not even giving them an invitation to allow Lilibet and Archie to attend?!

However, the outlet notes that the royal family is willing to discuss the two children’s attendance at the coronation if Meghan and Harry decide to RSVP yes. At this time, no official decision has been announced by the 41-year-old former actress and the 38-year-old prince. However, once he arrives at the wedding, King Charles will ensure there is no awkward tension between the feuding family members:

“Harry will be welcomed by his family because it is important to his father. There will be no signs of friction or attention to past family squabbles. Everyone wants to ensure the focus is on the coronation.

That makes sense. But let’s be real! The possibility of no “external signs of friction” seems extremely slim. Prince Harry and Prince William are barely in the same room! Not to mention the fact that the Prince of Wales didn’t even want his sister there in the first place. And now that King Charles reportedly broke up with the duo again and didn’t invite Meghan and Harry’s little ones? Keeping things civil for the sake of the coronation might be wishful thinking!

What do you think, Perezcious readers? Do you think King Charles never invited Archie and Lilibet? Let us know in the comments below.
