Despite months of hype surrounding Prince Harry’s debut memoir, the book has arrived with much more than anticipated.
Many suspect that Harry will share new revelations about his unique upbringing and his relationship with the people who raised him.
But few expected that he would be so harsh in his assessment of the family and in various ways that he made his life more difficult.
In case you didn’t know, the media had a field day airing this complaint, and many described the current situation as the Windsor clan’s worst nightmare.

On Sunday night, just two days before the book’s release, an interview with Harry aired on US and UK television.
In conversation with British journalist Tom Bradby and American 60 minutes correspondent Anderson Cooper, Harry said they were scathing
But interestingly, when asked about the chances of him and his family resolving their differences, Harry said he was optimistic.

But according to a new report from Vanity FairAccording to royal reporter Katie Nicholl, Harry was sadly mistaken in thinking he would be forgiven by his family anytime soon.
“She’s on a self-destructive path. There’s a lot of grudges,” a royal insider told Nicholl.
“The late Queen must have been very broken.”

Buckingham Palace communications director Dickie Arbiter echoed those sentiments.
“If Harry wants to join, he’ll have to eat simple pie and he’s not showing any signs of it,” she said.
“From my point of view, the institution did a lot to help Harry, but he reached a point where he stopped taking advice. Harry was always stubborn,” Arbiter added.

“He always did his own way and did his own thing. As for the book, I regret not pulling it off. It’s over now. He can’t undo this.
On this side of the pond, Harry’s comments about his sister – particularly his claim that he was attacked by William in 2019 – have garnered the most attention.
But according to Nicholl, the royals are most upset about Harry’s comments about his stepmother, Camilla Parker Bowles.

“Some members have slept with the devil to repair their image, but the rehabilitation has damaged others,” Harry wrote about Camilla’s relationship with the media.
In an interview with 60 Minutes, Harry said that Camilla leaked private information to the British tabloid press in exchange for favorable coverage that would help her reputation.
Nicholl and others believed that Harry would not return to his family without Charles’ approval.

And they believe that by taking shots at Camilla, Harry has ruined the chance to ever regain his father’s favor.
It seems that after almost three years of living in North America, Harry may be well and truly himself.
