with Prince Harrybomb memoirs spare hitting shelves around the world today, it’s no surprise even more details and accusations come out about the royal family than the Duke of Sussex himself.
As we’ve discussed, before the book’s release, A LOT of crazy tea has been spilled – just a few including Harry admitting to his cocaine use, how he publicly lost his virginity, and responding to rumors about him. REAL father. It’s been a rollercoaster to say the least, and Tuesday just saw more twists and turns.
Just before we learn Queen Camilla alleged leak of hostility between Meghan Markle and Princess Catherine for the press, but the family tension does not stop there. At spare, the 38-year-old prince claims growing up is not better than now. Harry said that he was a little kid knowing that he was there if something happened to his brother Prince William.

She claims her parents, as well as her grandfather, referred to herself and the Prince of Wales as “heir and spare” during her childhood – and apparently the title “spare” is pretty easy. Allegedly, Harry was only born if William needed an organ transplant:
“I was brought into this world when something happened to Willy.”
So bad, no child should have to live with the belief that they are no better than a spare tire…
Harry went on to describe his whole purpose in life as “a mission to provide a source of distraction, entertainment and, if necessary, spare parts” – such as organ transplants, blood transfusions, or bone marrow. According to the prince, he can only be useful in case of emergency.
The titles of “heir” and “survivor” have been reinforced all their lives, according to the book. The Duke of Sussex said the idea of just being an extra part of William was made “very clear” from a young age. He even remembers when, at the age of 20, he heard the story of his father’s “words”. King Charles already with his mother Princess Diana date of birth:
“That’s great! You have given me an heir and a remnant; I’ve done my job.”
It’s so sad. It’s no wonder there’s tension between Harry and William if that’s how they grew up thinking about themselves and each other. The worst, of course, comes from Charles’ alleged behavior. More cruel…
