Well, if the royal family likes to feel relieved after watching Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s amazing Netflix series, it’s likely that the peace will not last long.
Harry’s long-anticipated memoir won’t hit US stores until tomorrow, but thanks to a series of leaked excerpts and a whirlwind promotional tour, we already know the Duke of Sussex is doing it. not finding it easy for his famously fussy brother.
To the shock and dismay of many royalists, Harry announced that Prince William had attacked him in 2019, and that he could no longer speak to his father or brother.
But while William has claimed most of the headlines, Harry’s comments about his stepmother, Camilla Parker Bowles, are almost as scathing.

In his book and interviews given to promote it, Harry portrayed Camilla as a master manipulator and a destructive force in his family.
Appearing on Sunday night’s episode of 60 minutesHarry stated that Camilla’s desire for positive publicity made her a “danger” to his family’s reputation.
He claims that the danger has increased over the years, as his stepmother’s “connections with the press” have improved.

Harry later said that the relationship developed because of “an open willingness on both sides to trade information.”
“[Her need to rehabilitate her image] making him dangerous because of his relationship with the British press,” Anderson Cooper said.
“And there is an open willingness on both sides to trade information,” Harry continued.

“And with a family that is built hierarchically, and with her, on the road to becoming Queen Consort, there will be people or bodies left on the road because of that.”
In his book, Harry revealed that he and William begged their father not to marry Camilla, but it was clear from the start that they would settle for a royal wedding and a title.
“Not long after the private meetings with him, he began to develop a long-term strategy, a campaign aimed at the wedding and in time, the Crown (with our father’s blessing, of course),” wrote Harry.

“News stories started appearing in all the newspapers about the conversation with Willy, stories that told a lot of little details, none of which came from my brother, of course,” he said.
Eventually, of course, Charles and Camilla got married, and to the surprise of many, Queen Elizabeth decided in 2020 that Camilla would assume the title of Empress when Charles ascended the throne.
In other words, Camilla seems to have gotten what she wanted.

But if they are hoping for a government free of internal conflict, they may be out of luck.
Harry seemed determined to tell the truth, regardless of the damage it might do to his stepmother’s reputation.
