Never knew love like this! Dance With The Stars pros Whitney Carsonwho is expecting her second child with her husband Carson McAllisterrevealed the gender of the baby – and it looks like he will continue to be outnumbered at home.
“Our double blessing 🫶🏼🦋,” the dancer, 29, wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, January 4, alongside a sweet beach video showing the words “It’s a boy” written in the sand.
After the big announcement, Carson DWTS costars took to the comments section to share their excitement. “I can’t wait to see you boy 😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️,” Lindsay Arnoldwho is also pregnant, gushed, when Pasha Pashkov wrote, “Yay!!! ❤️❤️❤️.”
The Utah native said she and McAllister, 29, are looking forward to the next episode of the Disney+ dance competition series in November 2022.
“I’m so excited to finally announce that Carson, Leo and I are expecting baby #2,” Carson shared during the semifinal broadcast as partner Wayne Brady and his fellow costars hugged him. “I’m blessed and it feels like a great time to share. And I finally get to share! That’s awesome!”
At So You Think You Can Dance alum and actor, who were high school sweethearts, tied the knot in January 2016 after dating three months earlier. In January 2021, the lovebirds welcomed son Leo via C-section – while Caron was suffering from COVID-19. “I pushed for two and a half hours,” he exclusively told us one month after giving birth. “I was induced and the baby just didn’t want to come out. He was just, like, stuck under my waist for a long time. His heart rate started going really high. So we had to do an emergency C-section and obviously, we did whatever was right for the baby .
Carson referred to the ordeal as “traumatic,” explained that he was not “ready” for the next operation. “I think I’m not going to do it all,” the Emmy nominee said. “We are very happy that he is healthy. That is the most important thing.”
However, despite the complications, Carson showed that it was all worth it when he and his wife locked eyes with the little one, who was listening to the choreographer being an incredible father to Leo from the beginning.
“Seeing him become a father is, like, the most amazing thing because we’ve been together for two years,” she said. We are in time. “It just melts your heart and you love him more.”
