He’s glowing! After her surprise pregnancy announcement, Hilary Swank looked excited as she showed off her growing baby bump.
The actress revealed that she is expecting twins during the interview Good morning America on October 5, “This is what I have wanted for a long time, and the next thing I will do is become a mother,” Million dollar baby star, who is married to Philip Schneider, he said. “And not just one, but two. I can’t believe it.”
He added: “It’s great to be able to talk and share.”
Shortly after appearing on screen, Swank took to social media to gush about the milestone. “Coming…DOUBLE Feature! 👼🏼👼🏼,” she captioned an Instagram video of herself rubbing her stomach.
That same day, the Nebraska native opened up about her decision to keep her pregnancy a secret while filming the ABC series Alaska Daily.
“But my clothes started not fitting,” she recalled when they were Live With Kelly and Ryan. “Then I wear a jacket that is not continuous. “And [they] came and said, ‘It is not continuous.’ I said, ‘Oh, I think it works.’ ‘Not.’ ‘No, yes. I’m going to make it.’ He was like, ‘If you’re an executive producer, you can do it, but this is weird.’ “
Swank noted that she is “so happy” to be raising her family with Schneider, adding, “It’s such a blessing. It’s a total miracle. It’s unbelievable.”
The couple, who started dating after mutual friends broke up in 2016, chose to quietly tie the knot two years later.
“I am overwhelmed with gratitude and thanks for marrying the man of my dreams and seeing all the people we love together in the middle of a deep setting. It really is a dream come true,” said the Academy Award winner Vogue in 2018. “It’s timeless. There’s no other way to describe it.
In honor of their one-year anniversary, Swank publicly praised her relationship with Schneider. “It’s been a year!! The best of my life … except for the first year … and the second year together,” he wrote via Instagram in August 2019.
Ahead of her pregnancy, the Boy Don’t Cry star before the talks knew she wanted to be a mother “from a very young age.” During the interview with InStyle in 2010, Swank explained that she was waiting until the “right time” to have children.
