A police vehicle transporting the suspect to Tamale crashed
A police vehicle transporting the suspect from Damongo in the Savannah Region to Tamale in the Northern Region has crashed.
The accident happened at Tailorpe around Busunu on the Fufulso-Damongo highway.
Seven suspects and eight police officers in a vehicle with registration number GP 516 have sustained various injuries.
All have been taken to the hospital.
It was unclear what caused the crash, but warning shots could still be heard after the vehicle crashed.
