The deceased suspect, identified as Kwame is on the wanted list of the police over the early morning robbery attack on a mobile money vendor in Buduburam in Gomoa District East Central Region.
During an operation by personnel from the Central Regional Police Command to make an arrest on Friday night, the suspect strongly resisted and physically injured a policeman.
Michael Anderson, a 28-year-old Mobile Money seller, was shot dead by robbers on December 30, 2022, at a public toilet facility in Buduburam.
The dawn robbery attack also saw the operator of a public toilet facility robbed at gunpoint.
Michael died on January 5, 2023, while being treated at the Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital.
