‘Pod Save America’ Hosts Hit Back At ‘Victim’ Hunter Biden

The son of former President Joe Biden torched actor George Clooney and others during a three-hour-plus interview with YouTuber Andrew Callaghan, which was released Monday, as he hit out at the campaign to oust his father from the 2024 presidential race.

Of the “Pod Save America” crew, which includes co-hosts Jon Favreau, Jon Lovett, Tommy Vietor and Dan Pfeiffer, Hunter Biden said, “The ‘Pod Save America’ guys were junior fucking speech writers on Barack Obama’s Senate staff who have been dining out on the relationship with him for years, making millions of dollars.”

The 55-year-old suggested their efforts contributed to his father eventually dropping out of the presidential battle, despite giving “52 years of his fucking life to the service of this country.”

“Fuck him [George Clooney] and everybody around him,” Hunter Biden said in summary.

In a “Pod Save America” episode following the interview’s release, co-host Vietor sniped that Hunter Biden had “found a very credulous partner to give him three hours.”

“Mostly it is three hours of Hunter playing the victim,” he continued of the content. “And he rages at us, and he rages at Axelrod and Clooney, but the problem was the voters, and they never addressed that. The voters thought Joe Biden was too old.”

Vietor argued Hunter Biden’s controversial business dealings, including sitting on the board of Ukrainian energy company Burisma “because of who your dad is” and attempts to forge a career as an artist, were “what people hate about Washington. And it was part of the problem.”

He went on to criticize the “sense of entitlement” from the Joe Biden inner circle that he “was owed a second term.” “It’s just very fucking grating,” Vietor added.

Lovett chimed in to argue Hunter Biden “was a terrible liability” throughout Joe Biden’s presidency.

“You should be ashamed of the ways in which you made your father’s political life worse,” Lovett added. “And the idea that we’re going to listen to you now, like, give me a fucking break. It’s ridiculous.”
