Pink want to make it clear that he is not trying to shade Christina Aguilera with his recent comments on songs Lady Marmalade!
As you know, the two singers have been together for years after their hit collaboration record with Mya and Lil Kim. However, it seems they squashed their beef once and for all when they worked together on it NBC‘s Voice in 2016. Pink even told Andy Cohen at Watch What Happens Live in 2017 that they were “made in Voice,” remembers:
“I haven’t seen him in years and years and years and we became mothers. We grew up and we hugged out. … We were super young and super new to the whole thing. I was the alpha and he was the alpha, and I was used to take my altercations physically and he’s used to having them verbally. We’re just very different.”

Christina even made it look bad between the next two years WWHLsaid:
“I know he has some, you know, feelings or something about the record of ‘Lady Marmalade’ and all that, and I know the actual video, he scared me, because he made fun of me in the audience a little bit behind the director and I was like , ‘Oh, what happened?’ But she’s like, you know, she’s a different person now – she’s a mom, she’s like, she’s cool.
However, the truce seemed to go out the window when Pink made some inner sense comment during the new interview with Buzzfeed UK. The singer is 43 years old Lady Marmalade in last place when rating an old music video and saying it was “not very fun,” explaining:
“I’m all having fun and like, a lot of noise, and there’s some personality.”
He then noted that “Kim and Mya are nice” – making it very clear that the only personality on the set is his (maybe ex?) Nemesis Christina! Remember Pink’s deliberate decision to leave it out fighter singer from her “good” comments, many people believe that she is “shading” him once again. Now, in So what artist responds to accusations of shade! In response to a since-deleted tweet about her comments, Pink wrote in Twitter Saturday:
“You guys are laughing. Xtina has a lot to do with what’s in the song. If you don’t know now- I’m not “shading” people by telling it over and over again what actually happened. I am zero percent interested in your f**king drama. If you haven’t noticed- I’ve been a bit busy selling. And by sell- I mean tickets and albums and bake sales and s**t”
Hmm… Whether or not Pink meant for her comments to be shady, it definitely comes off!
He then added:
“Also- I kissed xtinas mouth. I don’t need to kiss her ass.”
Of course, Pink was referencing earlier claims that she and Christina kissed during a bottle game at her birthday party – although the Dirrty singer had a different recollection. Christina remembered WWHL:
“I’m excited about the kiss. I’m like, oh, kiss, like, everything’s fine, maybe not, you know, whatever. He raised his hand like this [holds her hand over her mouth]. I was like, oh, what are we doing? well They don’t want to get ‘Dirty.’”
