MANILA, Philippines – Jalen Hudson hit just three shots in a team-best 36-point performance as they beat TNT 131-109 at Terrafirma on Saturday night.

It was a great encore for the American import, who came off a 56-point outburst during a win over Converge just two nights ago.

“I just want to come out here and be aggressive,” he told reporters as he exited the Mall of Asia Arena, shortly after helping Tropang Giga to a 5-1 start in the PBA Governor’s Cup.

“I know that this game, if we play, (Dyip) can stay in the game. I just want to do my part so the others will follow.

Of course TNT is four other players-including Mikey Williams-injured twice in the victory that extended the Terrafirma club’s dominance to 15 meetings.

“I made an emphasis on getting aggressive, getting guys involved—and (this) is just kind of the result,” Hudson said.

Hudson’s scoring performance on Saturday was less about how efficient he was on 12-for-15 shooting and more about how easily he bounced back from his forgettable production in last week’s win over Magnolia.

It can be recalled that he had only 14 points during the contest.

“I just thought that the game was really low scoring,” Hudson explained. “Some other people have been, and I try to be an unselfish player. It’s about the team – they score goals, we win and then what’s the problem.

Save for that game against the Hotshots, Hudson has been really steady for the perennial contenders, who currently sit third in the race.

“The most important thing is to win for me. I know that in general, I will be able to be aggressive and get points, but I also want to show love,” he said.
