Highlife legend Amakye Dede has shockingly revealed that the National Lottery Authority (NLA) of Ghana did not pay him to use his most popular song “Dabi Dabi” as his signature song to promote the lottery service.
Amakye Dede’s “Dabi Dabi” became one of the main songs used by the NLA to launch images on national television and radio.
It’s only fair to say that this song helps Authority to attract new customers and expand its customer base.
The Legendary Musician, who goes by the name “Iron Boy”, expressed his disappointment in the Authority for not compensating him or paying him royalties since he played a song to make the game popular.
Amakye Dede revealed this in an exclusive interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM “The Slow Road” drive time is Friday, January 6,
He advised the Chief Executive of the NLA, Sammi Awuku, to pay all his debts to the NLA using his songs.
