The Committee on Appointments of Parliament will review Ministers and Deputy Ministers nominated by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo from Monday, February 20, 2023.
Member of Parliament (MP) Adansi Asokwa, KT Hammond, Minister-designate for Trade and Industry, MP Nhyiaeso, Stephen Amoah will be his deputy.
Member of Parliament for Abetifi, Bryan Acheampong was also nominated as the Minister of Food and Agriculture, while Stephen Asamoah Boateng moved to the Ministry of Chiefs Affairs and Religion as a minister.
He is expected to appear before the Committee for vetting chaired by Joe Osei Owusu, the first vice chairman.
Some of the nominees are those who served in the first term of President Akufo-Addo, while others are the appointees of OB Amoah who has been appointed Minister of State in the Ministry of Local Government from deputy minister.
