Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, yesterday, inaugurated the Osun Tinubu-Shettima Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) in Osogbo.

Oyetola, who is the state coordinator of the council, tasked the newly inaugurated PCC members in a bid to ensure all-round victory for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate, Alhaji Kashim Shettima, as well as all APC candidates in the upcoming general elections. will come

The former governor of Osun State, who stated that the state will ensure the delivery of over a million votes for the party’s flag bearer in the next presidential election, said the APC has presented the best candidate to turn around Nigeria’s fortunes.

He said that no stone will be left unturned to ensure the emergence of Tinubu and Shettima as well as all party candidates in the national and state assembly elections.

Oyetola noted that the country needs competent individuals like Tinubu to build on the gains of the incumbent administration and drive the country’s potential for growth and socio-economic development of the country.

According to him, there is no room for experimentation on the choice of the next president at this critical time in the history of Nigeria, so it is necessary to choose Tinubu whose political pedigree, good, responsible and responsive governance antecedents are second to none.

Oyetola, who described the Tinubu-Shettima ticket as divine, said it is worth noting that the team is powered by tested and trusted hands as it offers renewed hope to all in all sectors, ensuring today and guaranteeing tomorrow for all and sundry.

Earlier, the State APC Chairman, Tajudeen Lawal, urged party loyalists to start a door-to-door campaign and mobilize people to come out en-masse to vote and ensure victory for the party.

In the same vein, the Speaker, Osun House of Assembly, Timothy Owoeye, expressed his faith in God that Oyetola will win and return as governor of Osun, while Tinubu will also be elected the next president of the state.

Owoeye, who described the results of the July 16, 2022 Osun governorship election announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as a temporary setback, said God will soon return Oyetola to rule the state for a second term before July this year. .
