Vanderpump Rules fans watched as Oliver Saunders made out with Rachel Lewis in the season 10 trailer, which was released on Monday, and now, just a few days later, he learns his son The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Garcelle Beauvais filed for divorce from his estranged wife Samantha Sauders soon after.
According to new reports, Oliver, 31, filed for divorce on September 14, 2022 after two years of marriage and one son, 2-year-old Oliver Jr., said it was about a potential future with Samantha, 32, who called him in the middle of production on season 10 for “[committing] adultery,” lies, and disrespect, “no possibility of reconciliation”.
The US Sun shared details of Oliver’s January 10 court filing.
“During the marriage, the tastes, mental dispositions, opinions, likes and dislikes of the Plaintiff and the Defendant have become so different that the parties cannot live together until they cannot live together. as husband and wife and incompatibility between them it’s so big, there’s no possibility of reconciliation,” wrote Oliver in the divorce petition, asking for legal and primary custody of his son.
“The Plaintiff is a fit and proper person to be awarded Primary Physical Custody of the minor child subject to reasonable visitation by the Defendant,” he explained.
According to Oliver’s filing, he left child support up to court but chose “not to award spousal support” to Samantha. However, she wants to “split equally the costs of unpaid medical, dental, optical, or other health care expenses” for her son.
Although Oliver and Samantha’s divorce is still active, they are in the middle of an additional child support case against him Pump Rules (and “unpaid”) guest stars, submitted in July 2020.
In the midst of her fight with Oliver last year, Samantha said Oliver left her “thousands of dollars in debt and in a financial struggle” as she explained that Raquel, 28, was not to blame.
“[Raquel] have done nothing wrong and have respected and supported,” he shared.
While attending BravoCon in New York City in October 2022, Raquel, who is also seen dating Tom Schwartz and going on a date with Peter Madrigal in the season 10 trailer, said OK! Magazine about the new season.
“I focused on myself and learned more about who I am and what I want in life,” Raquel said. “I’m not afraid to talk and share my thoughts and feelings now, which is a big thing for me because when I started, it was very monitored and I was very shy and afraid to share.”
OK! The magazine’s report, shared on January 10, also included a quote from Tom’s ex-husband, Katie Maloneywho appears to be dating in the middle of his adventure with Raquel on the show.
“It’s an exciting time,” he admits. “I’m doing really well this season. I feel hopeful. I like the idea of anything that can happen – who knows what I’ll be! At first I thought it would be scary, but now I’m like, ‘You know what? I’m going to be good.’ “
