An Ohio teacher is facing jail time after posting lewd photos to… ugh… high school students.
Ana D’Ettorreformer teacher in School at Liberty Junior in Liberty Township, pleaded guilty to one count of sexual misconduct with a minor and one count of showing harmful material to juveniles after grooming a 14-year-old male student with explicit photos. The 25-year-old was originally charged with 12 criminal counts, according to WKRC.
Apparently, D’Ettorre, 24 at the time, was a student teacher District Lakota Kab high school in the second semester of the 2021-2022 academic year, while also being a Christian school Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. At that time he began to form an inappropriate relationship with the teenager Snapchatsent the victim many sexually explicit photos.

After D’Ettorre finished teaching at the school, he kept in touch with the little boy – and even arranged to meet with him outside the school between May 21 and August 30 last year, according to Journal-News. In the police report taken by WKRC, the young teenager told police he once snuck out of his house to meet D’Ettorre at night. He claimed that in addition to posting nude photos, the two had sex three times, according to the report.
District Attorney Butler Mike Gmoser to a local news station:
“The long-term effects of sexualization are dramatic and devastating, and we know it. The science is there, and that’s why it’s prohibited, so we punish those who engage in such activities with appropriate sentences.
Betsy Fuller, a spokesperson for the Lakota School District said after being notified of the investigation, the school is in full compliance with law enforcement. He wrote in a statement:
“We are disappointed that such serious allegations have been made against a student teacher who spends time with students.”
He added that the district has not received any complaints about D’Ettorre during his teaching career.

Since he signed his plea deal, the court has dropped 10 other charges of distributing harmful material to minors, according to documents. Now, D’Ettorre faces up to two years in prison when he is formally sentenced, in addition to being required to register as a Tier 2 sex offender. His next court date is scheduled for April 11.
Hopefully the victim will eventually recover from the abuse, and justice will be served during that court date. Read more from December’s court appearance (below):
