All is now set for the governorship candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, and his team to storm the Ogun neighborhood for a grassroots campaign.
The detailed schedule of the grassroots campaign, a copy of which was obtained, shows that the campaign will start on January 25, 2023, with Ado-Odo local government, covering Wards 1–7 in the first and Wards 8–16 in the second. .
On January 27 and 28, it’s Sagamu Local Government Area’s turn, and this campaign will touch Wards 1–7 first and Wards 8–15 second.
The campaign trail then shifts its focus to Ijebu Ode for January 29 and 30, where the team will visit Wards 1–5 first and Wards 6–11 next.
The schedule continues as outlined by the campaign council on March 8, 2023, when the campaign trail is in Abeokuta, the state capital, for the grand finale.
All the supporters of the party have been mobilized and are waiting for the starting date to start invading the Ogun environment, touching the grassroots and the gateway towns of the state.
The NNPP, which has been steadily gaining ground in the state, said it has resolved to change the narrative in the state’s politics by adding people-oriented programmes.
