NPP Postpones Meeting on Presidential Race until February 2nd

The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) announced for the information of its members that the Steering Committee, National Executive Committee, and National Council meeting of the Party, which was originally scheduled for Tuesday, January 31, 2023, has been postponed to Thursday. , February 2, 2023.
The meeting was called to discuss the date of the presidential and parliamentary elections.

The party, however, in a press release, said the development was necessary due to the need for more stakeholder consultation and engagement on matters to be discussed at the meeting.

“The Party Leader apologizes for any possible problems, and asks all interested parties to comply with the information,” he said.
