NPP Poll: Annoh-Dompreh predicted a 70% win for Bawumia
Majority Chief Whip and Member of Parliament for Nsawam Adoagyiri, Frank Annoh-Dompreh has predicted a 70% victory for the Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia ahead of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) primary.
He said that, despite the mixed opinions of some political analysts, this would be a big victory for the current vice president Dr Bawumia.
He stated this when he joined the Vice President with other members of parliament at the Manhyia palace in Kumasi for the second Akwasiadae in 2023.
Frank Annoh-Dompreh spoke to the media, “this is the first time we see a Muslim who is a leader and gathers the support of the Christian community, he builds a mosque, a church, approaches the Pastor. and he eats, talks and thinks together with the Ulema, for me, I have not yet see that such religious tolerance is unique in the continent and for me, we must respect what we have and celebrate it”.
He added, “I tell you that he will not win by less than 70%, for a long time in this game I have been a student leader, TPS executive, regional executive, and now I have been the chairman of the former committee. , I am the Chief Whip, I can feel all the spirit of the party is behind this man and whoever will fight this man is like sweeping the moving current, he will win there is nothing he can do. that, will win massive minimum will be 70%”.
He warned other candidates not to underestimate the support of the vice president.
“That is why I did not join the NDC, since childhood this party is a party that entertains reason that disagrees, no one is afraid no one can intimidate MPs.
“Don’t underestimate the huge amount of support this person has and treat it as intimidation, there is no intimidation who claims that they are intimidated they have to come out and prove it”
“There are other members of parliament who support other candidates so they do not support 100%, for the record, we do not have a candidate here, I can give some names but they are free to join them,” he said.
He said the delegates in all the 16 regions urged the voters to elect Bawumia as their flag bearer and end the 8-year jinx in the political sphere.
Dr. AS Bawumia, joined the Asantehene to celebrate the second Sunday festival in 2023 at the Manhyia Palace.
He was accompanied by his wife, Samira Bawumia, who both wore beautiful Kente cloth.
Among his entourage are many Chief Executive Officers of State Institutions, Regional and Constituency chairpersons of the ruling New Patriotic Party, MPs and others.
