Arsenal extended their unbeaten run at home in the Premier League to 12 games as they came from behind to beat Manchester United 3-2 in a thrilling match at the Emirates on Sunday.
Marcus Rashford gave the visitors a first-half lead with a long-range effort, but the Gunners responded with an equalizer seven minutes later after Eddie Nketiah nodded home from close range.
Bukayo Saka put the Gunners ahead in the second half before Lisandro Martinez headed the ball wide for a corner.
Saka’s goal made him the youngest Arsenal player to score in three consecutive games against the Red Devils.

Just when it looked like the spoils would be shared, Nketiah struck late to give the hosts the win and put them five points clear at the top.
Before kickoff, Nigeria and Arsenal legend Kanu Nwankwo revealed that he will be supporting the team live at the Emirates in a post on his Twitter handle.

At the Etihad, Manchester City ensured they were closely following the Gunners in second place by beating Wolverhampton 3-0.
Haaland grabbed his fourth hat-trick of the season as the defending champions continued their comeback
The prolific Norwegian’s latest goal took his tally to 31 this season in all competitions and took City to back-to-back league victories for the first time since the World Cup.

After a poor opening, Haaland fired City into the lead five minutes before the interval and doubled his lead from the penalty spot after 50 minutes.
He claimed the third time in four minutes and then, with his job done, left the field after an hour.
City’s victory, which followed Thursday’s dramatic fightback against Tottenham, kept City firmly in the title race after a previous scare that could see them lose.
There was nothing exciting from the day’s other fixtures as Leeds United were held to a barren draw by Brentford.

Although Nigeria international Frank Onyeka was not in action for the Bees, his teammates did enough to claim the spoils at Elland Road.

While Leeds are in 15th place with 18 points from 19 games, Brentford are well on their way to 8th place on the log ahead of Liverpool and Chelsea with 30 points from 20 games.
