Dr. Nicole Martin protect the OG alliance, tease the drama of the reunion, and confess Marysol Patton there is a source of Larsa Pippengossip.
He’s also worried that the event’s history could repeat itself, and he wants to see how Real Housewives of Miami can film if castmates “hate” each other.
“I wasn’t around 10 years ago when we did season 3, but I can say – from what I’ve seen and what I’ve read – season 3 is toxic, and there’s a point where people don’t respect other people’s boundaries,” he explained in an interview with ET. “If you come for people’s families, you come for their careers, you come for their children, then you’re going to hate your friends, right? And hate is a strong word, but when people can’t get along, how do you make a group film ?”
“If you can’t sit at the dinner table without wanting to make eye contact with each other, it’s like, how are you going to do it all season?” the doctor added. “I’m honestly worried that we’re so close to that line that it’s going to be hard to recover from some of the accusations and damages between OG and OG. … I really hope that people can take responsibility for their choice of words and actions, because people need to apologize or there is no place to go forward.
He later directed the cast’s trip to the Bahamas.
“I love to travel,” Nicole said. “Like, I’m the first person to jump on a plane and go somewhere for any amount of time, and it’s probably the trip I regret. It’s exhausting.”
Though it started off well, Nicole said things changed after “the first 24 hours,” seeming to suggest that when Marysol arrived.
“OG has a very complicated relationship that I’m not going to try to understand,” the star said. “The relationship is more than ten years old, and there are definitely deeper issues than what happened this season. I think there’s a lot of hurt and triggers from what happened … 10 years ago, and I think a lot of it happened when there was an argument in the Bahamas .
They also talk about new things Watch What Happens Live interview with Alexia Echevarria and Marysol Pattonwho failed to mention Nicole’s name when listing the newbies they enjoyed.
“It makes me feel like I’m living for free,” said Nicole about her comments, “and honestly, I don’t think about it when I’m not filming. So, I don’t know. Kudos to me for living rent free.
He then reacted to Alexia and Marysol who claimed that the OG-vs.-newbie dynamic even exists. “Yes, Gerdy, Julia and I’m all delusional,” said Nicole sarcastically. “I mean, when you have three grown women here who are independent, strong, and successful? I’m sorry, but we don’t create problems in our heads, do we? Like, there is a division because one has been created – and not created by us.
“This woman … doesn’t like to share the limelight with new faces. At least that’s how she feels,” the star said. very happy to just stay in my lane, and mind my own business. Like, don’t bother me. … Don’t poke the bear. You play stupid games, you get stupid prizes.
Speaking of Alexia’s “lawyer lunch” — during which Nicole gave the lawyer her Amex Black card so she could ask questions herself — she explained, “[Beforehand]I told him, I was like, ‘I think this is a really weird concept. Anthony Lopez).
“I was like, ‘If I’m going to plan a prenup with anyone, it’s probably Anthony,'” Nicole added, “and she’s like, ‘Ay! Nicky, don’t be like that…’ She’s like, ‘Let’s ask whatever questions you feel match…’ He was like, ‘Knowledge is power!’ I will never forget, ‘Knowledge is power!’ then I go, and I’m like OK, if knowledge is power, what’s one thing I feel like I have to ask to teach the group? Well, people feel like I’m not defamed, so I’m going to ask about defamation. Don’t give me a platform to ask and then take away… then, if you take away from me, if you take away from me on the premise that you pay for time, well, I will [pay] for the time I want, for you must learn to blaspheme.”
He also went to lunch with his wife, who fought over the same problem – although castmates and some fans were offended by his involvement.
“If men don’t want to participate, don’t invite them [film]” Commented Nicole. “If you don’t want Anthony involved, don’t talk about his wife – and don’t talk about the kids. Everything you’ve done, right? Larsa last year was insulting [our son] Greyson and try to like the question of his legitimacy, and then try to start this [other] rumours, and if you ask their sons and their male partners, they will join. I think that’s what my esteemed partner would do. So, don’t invite them or talk about their people.
Regarding the Larsa rumor, which she allegedly heard from a source via DM, Nicole said, “It will come out later in the season… [all] comes from Marysol.”
He mentions rumors that Nicole slept with all the doctors at the hospital and that Julia kissed a man when she married him. Martina Navratilova.
During the reunion taping, Andy reportedly yelled at Larsa.
“It was impressive,” Nicole recalled. “I was like, ‘I hope they don’t edit!’ ‘Because you have to think, we make a film almost like … I don’t know 10, 12 hours? We start at 8:00 in the morning, we finish at 8:00 at night, and this will be cut down to 3 hours. So , I was like, I hope they don’t yell at him because, in my mind, he deserves it.
“He was just like, ‘Are you serious?'” the star continued. “Well, don’t you see the problem with what you’re saying? And no, he didn’t see a problem with what he said, so he yelled.
The doctor also said that he and Larsa got “nothing” when they stopped recording. “We left the reunion the same way, we just couldn’t see each other,” he said, then mentioned Marysol again.
“I think it all started, really, based on this rumor that Marysol started last year in the Hamptons,” Nicole said. “I think Alexia brought me to the show … and Alexia and I have a lot in common. We got really close at the beginning of the season [4], and I just think that Marysol being the OG, being Alexia’s friend, is very controlling of Alexia and her friends. He was like, ‘Yeah, you’re not going to get a best friend…’ so he just decided to create a dispute with these alleged rumors, which he couldn’t prove, and in the end he kept coming up with one rumor after another, and we can’t see anything with evidence yet.
During the “powerful” reunion, Nicole was placed in the “first seat”, an honored position in the franchise.
“I always feel like I’m on the hot seat, but I think everyone has their time on the hot seat,” Nicole said. “It’s like a hot seat spinning … Lazy Susan. It seems to come often to me … I want to say we leave the reunion and everyone is like, ‘Oh, everything is hunky-dory,’ you know, in the words of Kathy Hilton … But, yeah, no. Things don’t get resolved, and it will be interesting to see where the next season goes.
According to Nicole, the biggest thing is that “the alliance is deeper than you think.”
“I apologize to a lot of people from the show,” he added. “I don’t know, that will be good, you know? I mean, there are some really good things he says, and it’s better to say, ‘Hey, that’s wrong. I should love you, I want you…’ [I’d like] for OGs no more blind alliances. For them it’s like, ‘Hey, for this time – like, OG, you’re on the wrong side of me with the newbie.’”
