“I have said this many times: There is no dispute. I do not understand. No one wants to write good things,” said the model, 28 years old, in his Cosmopolitan cover story, which was released on Tuesday, March 14.
Fortunately, he has a great support system with close friends, incl Selena Gomez. The “Wolves” singer is besties with Nicola and her husband Brooklyn Peltz Beckhamwho got married in April 2022.
“I have found it [Selena] once in over a few years ago, and then we all went to this event in September, the Academy Gala. We just click and have the best time. And then we became super, super close,” the New York native said.
Nicola couldn’t help but gush at her friend. “I feel like she’s my soul sister,” she added. “I love him so much. He is truly one of the most amazing people I have met in my life. The best person. Truly, a heart of gold. I feel like I’ve known him forever.”
Gomez knows what it’s like to deal with the constant speculation of a feud that Nicola and Victoria are involved in. Nicola married Brooklyn, 24, at the Peltz family estate in Palm, Beach Florida. They have been dating since 2019, but in the midst of their romance there have been speculations about the tension between them Bates Motel alum and former Spice Girl.
The newlyweds shut down rumors in August 2022 when they came to terms with Nicola’s decision not to wear a wedding dress designed by Victoria, 48.
“I was going to, and I really wanted to, and then a few months down the line, [Victoria] I realized that the atelier can’t do that, so I have to pick another dress,” he said The last airbender star explained to her husband in August 2022 variety cover story. “They didn’t say you can’t wear it; I didn’t say I didn’t want to wear it.”
Brooklyn, for his part, wasn’t surprised by the rumors of the incident. “He’s always going to try and humiliate people,” he told his haters. “But everyone gets along, which is good.”
Rumors have resurfaced amid the lawsuit. According to documents obtained by Us Weekly, Nelson PeltzNicola’s father, allegedly in December 2022 filed the event planner Nicole Braghin and Arianna Grijalba refused to refund $ 159,000 deposit. The suit alleges that Braghin and Grijalba recommended that the Peltz family hire another wedding planner after only nine days of working on the event.
The party planning duo responded last month with a countersuit seeking more than $50,000 in damages and accusing the Peltz family of making difficult demands too quickly and poor communication. Nelson, Nicola, mother, Claudia Peltzand wedding designer Rishi Patel named in the filing.
The countersuit also claims that the Peltzes were worried about Victoria finding out about hiccups in the planning.
“Both Claudia and Nicola assert that Victoria Beckham was unaware of any internal errors in the planning of their son’s wedding, including errors in the guest list,” the filing states.

A representative for Nelson told the Daily Mail that the countersuit is “riddled with inaccuracies” and that the claims are “meritless.”
