Spanish forward of Ghanaian descent, Nico Williams, has opened up about his future at Athletic Club.

The winger has disclosed that he can sign a lifetime contract with the La Liga outfit to guarantee he retires at the club.

“I would sign right now to spend my entire career at Athletic Bilbao,” Nico Williams told journalists at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Nico Williams, 23, came through the youth ranks at Athletic Club and has become one of the top stars at the club.

Although he could have played for the Black Stars of Ghana, the younger brother of Nico Williams represents the Spanish national team.

In the last few transfer windows, he has been linked with a potential move to several clubs, including Liverpool, Arsenal, and Barcelona.

With a strong bond with Athletic Club, he has always rejected the clubs and opted to remain with his boyhood club.

He has now ended speculations about his future after affirming that he wants to end his career in Bilbao.
