Good people from the past Scholar Nation it’s back on camera…again!
Let’s go back to 2015 for this – when again Kaitlyn Bristowe took the helm as the romantic lead in season 11 of The Bachelorette. That year, the Canadian-born starlet brought the contestants Nick Viall all the way to the very end of the show’s run before finally taking off Shawn Booth as someone you want to love forever.
Of course, the thing with Booth didn’t work. Bristowe has since moved to fellow Scholar nation alum Jason Tartik. But he still wants to talk about 2015, even eight years later. And so does Viall. The drama will never end! LOLz!!!

So, this all (again) started late last month. The 37-year-old Canadian continues Amanda Hirschhis podcast Not Skinny But Not Fat and spoke openly about how she was manipulated into pursuing Viall during her time Bachelor run. The former leader raised eyebrows among listeners by saying how the 42-year-old was “sexualized” by producers during filming:
“He really sexualized Nick on me. … One producer actually told me, after I kissed him, he would come in and, like, rub my lips and, like, lick his lips and be like, ‘oh, I just want know what it feels like — to, like, make out with Nick.’”
Bristowe – who slept heavily with Nick before the show’s fantasy suite capper – also claimed she was “brainwashed” behind the scenes by producers prodding her for storylines:
“They really, like, put me on a pedestal. … It’s part of their tactics. … I’ve been brainwashed.”
Well then!
Now, more than a week after Bristowe’s podcast comments first appeared, Nick is making some of his own. In the latest episode of his podcast Viall Files, which first hit the airwaves on Friday, the Wisconsin native admitted he was a little confused by Kaitlyn’s comments. He said:
“Did he give advice because someone asked him, I feel like he’s breathing or how he feels, so from now on he can’t make a decision?”
Ouch…
And season 21 Scholar it doesn’t stop there. In fact, he recognized Kaitlyn can tell the truth about the nosy manipulations of the producers. He explained that he didn’t think the incident was “brainwashing,” but he had an idea about the behind-the-scenes staff who could be responsible:
“I can picture who it is. I understand [which producer] yes, if it’s true.”
Hmmm! Convenient!
At Don’t Text Your Ex Happy Birthday the author has one more bone to pick with Kaitlyn, too. In her Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast chat, Bristowe joked about how Nick could invite her and her fiance Jason Tartik for his wedding Natalie Joy after Viall’s recent engagement — but only “for headlines.”

Nick didn’t feel the humor. He said he would not invites Bristowe to his wedding with Joy, and also lets the world know how he feels about the joke:
“Needless. I think the whole thing is kind of dumb. … I don’t, like, defend the show. [But] it’s cherry picking that some of my friends seem to do when it’s beneficial for them to criticize certain things. I tell you that I felt really cheated and brainwashed in Kaitlyn’s future: this person. And not just from the producers.
He also continued, referencing Kaitlyn’s comments to the bigger picture that he sees with some of the issues that the former star of the show seems to have dealt with in the past. Scholar drama:
“While I was angry and brainwashed and manipulated, I thanked people – including Kaitlyn – for how things turned out. Whether they deserved thanks or not, or had the best intentions at the time or not, I’m still grateful for everything. So I’m just trying to see from that level and the lens from, like, 30,000 feet. [away]instead, ‘today, I’m going to be a victim because it serves me well and tomorrow, I’m going to pretend it affects other people if it’s a TV show.’
