Nick Adams Nominated For U.S. Ambassador To Malaysia

Nick Adams, the Australian-born Floridian best known for his adoring posts about President Donald Trump and the concept of “alpha men,” officially has been nominated to serve as the U.S. ambassador to Malaysia.

“Mr. President, thank you for the honor of a lifetime. In your America, all dreams come true,” Adams wrote on social media following the announcement.

“To the esteemed Members of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee,” he went on, “I look forward to a confirmation process that is at the heart of the Constitution that has given me the freedom to pursue the American Dream.”

“Thank you again to our Greatest President Ever!”

Adams — part old-fashioned male chauvinist, part right-wing lifestyle influencer — managed to carve a unique role for himself in the MAGAsphere over the years with frequent posts about Trump (“the most honest political leader America has had since Abraham Lincoln”), golf (“spend your Saturday on the course having a foursome with the boys”), Hooters (“alpha fuel”) and his own myriad virtues.

“My humility is what sets me apart,” Adams once wrote alongside a photograph of himself. A pull quote was positioned next to his black-and-white visage: “Yes, I may be devilishly good looking, but I’m still humble about it.”

Over an image of Gorilla Glue, Adams once tweeted: “New lip gloss for women just dropped. Guaranteed to please the man in your life!”

“It’s called a dishwasHER not a dishwasHIM,” he wrote in another instant classic of the genre.

Mr. President, thank you for the honor of a lifetime. In your America, all dreams come true. It will be my honor to represent the United States of America in Malaysia.

Adams once asserted that federally protected lands should be razed and turned into golf courses to support his hobby, which he inexplicably and relentlessly refers to as “having a foursome with the boys.”

“What time do you like to have your foursomes?” he once asked. “I prefer mine in the morning when the grass is still moist and there are no ball marks on the putting greens. There is something spiritual about having a foursome with masculine guys first thing in the morning undisturbed by others.”

On occasion, his followers are treated to a lengthy and implausible story.

Once in these stories, Adams walked out on a date because she dared to confront him about being late for their reservation, allowing “someone’s future wife [to learn] a valuable life lesson” in the process. Another time, he bravely rejected recycled printer paper from a supplier. In yet another, he made a principled stand against a hotel that gave guests the option of reusing their towels.

And yet the ambassadorship role is, miraculously, not Adams’ first foray into government service.

Back in the aughts, he served as a city council member in Sydney, Australia, where he waged a war on the city’s pigeons as part of the Liberal Party. According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Adams became Australia’s youngest ever deputy mayor at the age of 21, in 2004.

Five years later, though, he had allegedly harrassed a reporter, leading the Liberals to suspend him for embarrassing them, the Herald reported.

Adams moved to the U.S. full time around the time of Trump’s first presidential campaign and became a citizen in 2021, according to his statements on X.

Trump eventually took notice, tweeting an endorsement of Adams’ book.

TBD on when to expect him on Capitol Hill for his confirmation hearing.

Like the queen, an alpha male arrives exactly when he wants to.
