The NerdzFactory Foundation has announced a strategic partnership with Access Corporation that aims to boost the youth workforce by making the industry ready for job opportunities.

Speaking at the Youth Transition Program that has benefited over 1000 Nigerian youths, the NerdzFactory Foundation called for deliberate efforts from the private and public sectors to equip Nigerian youths with employability and digital skills to thrive anywhere in the world.

Addressing the program participants, Thelma Eweam, program manager of the NerdzFactory Foundation, reiterated that the core of the program is to empower youth through job and digital skills to bridge the unemployment gap.

Ade’ Olowojoba, a director at the NerdFactory Foundation, asserted that the country is at a critical stage where the number of unemployed Youths does not match the number of economic opportunities available in the country.

“We must deliberately equip the youth in Nigeria to thrive in Nigeria and anywhere in the world,” Olowojoba said.

Also at the event were representatives of Access Corporation, program sponsor and NerdzFactory Foundation team members.

They also need people who can effectively use technology to create innovative products or services. These job skills are required for success in the modern workplace.
Over the years, the Youth Transition Program has impacted over 1000 youth with the right skills to transition into work and business.
