Babafemi said some equipment and various amounts of illicit substances used to mass produce dangerous new psychoactive substances were discovered on January 14.
He said the operatives found a laboratory where skuchies, a very powerful psychoactive substance were made with a mixture of Cannabis Sativa.
These, he said, include tramadol, Rohypnol, Exol-5 and industrial codeine which are produced in large quantities, packaged and distributed in jerrycans and bottles.

“All equipment for production including electric generators, industrial gas cylinders, drums and kegs have also been returned.
“Various types of illegal drugs such as 214kgs of marijuana; 1,440 capsules of tramadol; 480 tablets of swinol were confiscated.
“Also, 1,440 tablets of Rohypnol and 114 liters of industrial codeine, among others were also recovered from the building before sealing the premises,” he said.
Babafemi quoted the Chairman, NDLEA, retired Brig. General Buba Marwa commended the officers and soldiers of the Ogun Command for the arrest and seizure.
Marwa accused him and his colleagues across the country of keeping the heat on drug cartels in Nigeria while balancing efforts to reduce supply with activities to reduce drug demand.
